Academic Background
Noel Andrea is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems and Security at the Malawi University of Science and Technology (MUST). His academic training focuses on secure systems architecture, cybersecurity principles, network defense strategies, and infrastructure protection. Through this program, he has developed a strong foundation in both theoretical computing concepts and practical security implementation.
Professional Experience
Noel is currently serving as an intern at Kwathu Kollective, where he contributes to digital innovation initiatives and technology-driven community development. In this role, he applies his knowledge in cybersecurity, development, and networking to real-world projects that aim to strengthen digital capacity and technological adoption.

Leadership and Community Engagement
Noel is the Founder of the MUST Computer Science and Information Technology (MUST CIST) Society comprises of students from two programs: Computer Systems and Security (CSS), and Business Information Technology (BIT), an initiative established to promote collaboration, mentorship, and technical excellence among students in computing-related disciplines. Through this platform, he encourages knowledge sharing, innovation, and professional growth.
In addition, he serves as the Team Lead for the Digital Skills for Africa program at Kwathu Kollective, where he coordinates initiatives designed to enhance digital literacy and empower young professionals with practical technical skills. As a Digital Advocate, he actively promotes responsible technology use, cybersecurity awareness, and digital transformation within communities and institutions.
Technical Expertise
Noel specializes in cybersecurity, website and application development, networking, and network security. His expertise includes secure system design, threat analysis, vulnerability mitigation, network configuration, and infrastructure protection. He integrates backend and frontend development principles with security best practices to design scalable and resilient digital solutions.
Professional Vision
With a strong security-oriented mindset and leadership focus, Noel is committed to building secure and sustainable digital infrastructures. His long-term goal is to contribute meaningfully to cybersecurity engineering, secure systems architecture, and Africa’s broader digital transformation landscape.
